Football season has just ended.
What will all those poor Armchair Quarterbacks do with their time now that it’s over?
Wait… they’re not just the people who scream at their TV at the professionals doing their job… they’re also the people telling you how to live your life?
Everyone can relate to this. Everyone has at least one Armchair Quarterback in their life. Or heaven forbid… you’re one of them. If you are, please leave a comment below on how I can improve my life and blog, KTXBYE!
Armchair Quarterback ALWAYS have the answers.
“What I would do…”
“If I were you…”
“If you’re like me…”
They keep on and on until you find yourself mysteriously holding and sharpening a knife thinking, “Maybe this will shut them up.”
Most of the time these people don’t have any experience in what they’re talking about. They’ve never really experienced much of life or put themselves out there. And they wouldn’t do what they say you should do because they would’ve done it themselves.
All they really want to do is sit back and spout off their genius and expertise… well… hindsight, right?
These Armchair Quarterbacks can be very detrimental to your value and progress. They spout off so much “expert advice” and hindsight that it can eventually paralyze you. You feel like an idiot, like you don’t have anything figured out or know what direction you’re going in life. Well, nobody does really. Especially Armchair Quarterbacks. What have they really done in life, except judge other people and be the self appointed authority on everyone else’s lives?
We all make mistakes, things don’t work out… that’s life. We definitely should never be taking advice from someone who just sits and watches from the safety and comfort from their own lives, never experiencing anything or being bold enough to be an active participant in their own life.
