We all say we don’t care what other people think.
We hear other people declare they also don’t care what other people think.
But are we just saying that we don’t care, but we really do care… or do we really not care?
By constantly exclaiming that we don’t care about what people think, we actually do care. We care that people care about us not caring about what they think. So, in short, the more we say we don’t care, the more we actually care.
I couldn’t care less about your opinions about me! But… I do care what you think about me not caring about your opinions. So, what do you think?
When we actually don’t care, we don’t feel the urge to tell everyone that we don’t care what others think. The way we live our lives proves that.
We should never let people’s opinions keep us from living our lives, achieving greatness or affecting our happiness. Everyone has opinions, but it doesn’t mean it’s right, it doesn’t mean that will work in our own life. We are the only ones who know what’s best for ourselves and our own opinions and how we talk to ourselves is the most important.
We are entitled to our own happiness. We are entitled to achieve the level of greatness we desire. We shouldn’t allow others to dictate that for us and we shouldn’t allow ourselves to dictate that for others.
Let’s get to where we’re living more by our actions and not by our words. So, next time we feel the urge to declare that we don’t care what other people think, let’s stop… and let’s actually not care by living the lives we are entitled to live.
