Go to the store, pick those magical lucky numbers, pay for it, feel the winning energy radiating from that little piece of paper between our fingertips.
This is the winning ticket. This piece of paper is the dream maker, problem solver… the winner
So many people play the lottery. Every one of them believes they’ll be the one to win it. I mean, if they didn’t think that then what’s the point of playing, right?
Now, there’s nothing inherently wrong with playing the lottery. Some people play it just for fun, the casual “Eh, what the heck”. Other’s do take it to the extreme and become obsessed. Obsession with anything is bad but, these aren’t the people I’m going to pick on.
It’s the people who play the lottery with that being their only solution, their one goal in life, the only thing they’re doing to try to improve life. They have these big dreams and ideas of a lavish lifestyle and their only path to it is to play the lottery, then sit around and wait. That’s all their doing in life is just sitting, wishing and waiting for a moment that will statistically never happen for them. They’re taking no action to solve any of their problems… just wishing.
The crazy chance these people do win, more often than not, they completely blow all their money and even go in debt within the first few years. They’re worse off than they were before. Why? Because they’ve been living this fantasy life, wishing, not being active in their own lives, not solving any problems or setting real goals. They lived a life of hollow wishes, not being productive or adding value to their life. The only chance for success they believed in was winning the lottery. An act that takes all the responsibility off themselves for how their own lives turn our and places it all on that piece of paper.
This is basically a metaphor in a long rant style.
We need to be productive, take responsibility in our own lives and be a value.
Reality is unaffected by your wishes and desires. -unknown
