There are politicians all around us and not just the ones who hold an elected office.
(noun) A person who hides behind and uses their opinions to try to diminish our value for their own personal political gains.
They cannot stand others to have value, ambition or passion. These people don’t want others to be aware of their own value. These Value Politicians don’t want to face the fact they haven’t put any value in their lives, they haven’t taken the steps to achieve anything… to have goals. They want to continue to use their excuses as to why they didn’t/couldn’t and a person of value makes their excuses invalid.
Be aware of the intentions and true motives behind the opinions and suggestions of others. They can be a powerful and harmful poison to the valuable, ambitious mind. They try to plant doubt, shake your courage, cause you to deviate from your path, take your focus off the end goal. Although they may sound helpful, they are snakes in the grass. Make no mistake.
How do we battle these Value Politicians?
We recognize them for who they are and if we can, cut them out of our lives. Unfortunately, a lot of these politicians are people we can’t cut out, but we can limit our time around them and we can keep them away from our goals. It’s hard sometimes to not talk about the things we’re passionate about, but for the sake of our value and let’s be honest, our sanity… we need to be careful about what it is we share with them. We need to be more cautious of who we reveal our passions to.
People of value are people who are traveling the same direction as you. They see ambition as the most valuable form of currency. These are the people we need to surround ourselves with!
